On Wednesday, Feb 4 the Russian State Social University hosted the games of the fourth round in six tournaments of the Moscow Open 2014, 10th RSSU Chess Cup. Many participants of the festival have a 100% record according to the current results.
Boris Grachev and Ildar Khairullin representing Russia share the first and the second places at the Moscow Open Premier Russian Cup. Both grandmasters have 4 wins balance and will face each other in the next round. Eight players have 0,5 points less than the leaders.
Russian Olga Girya, Alina Kashlinskaya, Daria Charochkina and Gunay Mammadzada from Azerbaijan are leading in the Moscow Open Women’s Premier Russian Cup. They have gained 4 points each.
Russian players Vladimir Belous and Vladislav Artemiev saved the leading positions in the RSSU Men’s Student Grandmaster Cup. They have 3,5 points each. Another Russian chess player Andrey Stukopin takes the third place. He has earned 3 points.
Nafisa Muminova from Uzbekistan is the first in the Women’s Student Grandmaster tournament. She has 3,5 points after the draw in the fourth round. Varvara Saulina with 3 points follows the leader. Wang Jue (China), Meri Arabidze (Georgia) and Deimante Daulyte (Lithuania) gained 2,5 points.
There are three leaders in the RSSU Senior Cup – grandmaster Yuri Balashov, international masters Evgenij Kalegin and Anatoly Kremenietsky – all three having scored 4 points.
The fifth round will be held on Wednesday, Feb 5.
