Alina Kashlinskaya shows a 100% result at the Russian Women’s Premier Cup, winning all 6 games. 7 runner-ups are 1 point behind the leader.
The participants of the Russian Men’s Premier Cup are acting more cautiously. Of the first ten boards, only one finished with a decisive result. Rinat Jumabayev (Kazakhastan) beat Xu Yinglun (China). Five grandmasters show the best result – 5 out of 6 points. They are Boris Grachev, Ivan Popov, Ildar Khairullin, Pavel Ponkratov (all representing Russia) and Rinat Jumabayev.
Russian Vladislav Artemiev with 5.5 points is leading in the Men’s Student Grandmaster Cup. Vladimir Belous (Russia) is half a point behind him. Another Russian participant Andrey Stukopin with 3.5 points is taking the third position.
Meri Arabidze (Georgia) and Nafisa Muminova (Uzbekistan) are sharing the lead in the Women’s Student Grandmaster Cup. Both chess players having 4.5 points. Wang Jue (China) with 4 points is taking third place.
Nine players are sharing the leader in the RSSU Senior Cup. All of them have managed to gain 5 points. The main favorites, grandmasters Yuri Balashov (Russian) and Evgeny Sveshnikov (Latvia) are among this group. The game between these players finished in a draw.
Two players of the Amateur Tournament have kept a 100% result. These are Russian Artem Sadovsky and Belorussian Andrei Gurbanov. Alexey Kostin (Russia) with 5.5 points is in third place. 17 participants of this competition have earned 5 points.
